We photograph life as we find it. Nobody is asked to look at the camera, hold a pose, or repeat a gesture. A photograph is only included in this project if the moment it shows would have happened whether or not we were there with a camera.
That means long hours of walking, waiting, and watching, in neighbourhoods, markets, transit stations, and quiet residential streets across the country.

Commuters, shopkeepers, children at play, seniors on a bench — the people who make up daily life, photographed without introduction or pause.

Are the people in your photographs aware they are being photographed?+
Often not in the moment itself. We work discreetly in public spaces so that what we capture is genuine, unposed daily life rather than a performance for the camera.
Do you stage or direct any of the scenes?+
No. Every photograph in this project shows something that was already happening. We do not ask anyone to move, pose, or repeat an action.
Which parts of Canada does the project cover?+
We photograph across a range of Canadian cities and smaller communities, from downtown cores to quiet residential streets, to build a broad picture of everyday life.
Can I share a location or suggest a place to photograph?+
